I'm finally finished! I have been working like crazy to finish this quilt to donate. I love it! It's the biggest quilt I've ever machine quilted. I wanted it really "boyish" so I did black and white stripes. It should be big enough for a tall boy.I had it layed out on the floor and once I sewed it together it shrunk (seams tend to do that) so I ended up adding four extra rows to make it longer so it would cover someone head to toe.
I made this quilt for crafthope.com. I made it for a bigger boy, Lauren is standing on a chair here, it's long. The quilts are for children in the Grand Rapids (Michigan) Public School system who are homeless during this Christmas season. I put it in the mail tomorrow!
