Weird dreams last night. Some of what I remember is... I had an apartment and I had lots of my family there visiting. I was upset though because my sisters all came with their kids but noone did anything with me, they all went out and had fun together. I went in the basement because I heard something and I found the apartment had a big storage area with lots of antique white/cream furniture. There were also bats flying around, "vampire bats" is what I thought but they were super cute and had bows on them, like something you'd see on a cute card. They were flying to the screen and couldn't get out. On the outside of my house a weird fast growing black vine was growing and I went out to break it off before it covered my entire house. It was hard and snapped off in pieces. Inside my apartment were lots of rooms, there seemed to be more all the time, and my dad had put in tons of improvements. One was a telephone box like thing but it was on the stairwell to the basement and it was too high to reach. He had also put in these cool drawer things but they were too high for me to reach too.
Bats

Also, I dreamt I was a teenager and I had snuck out of the house with my cousin Christine. We went up a very narrow and precarious path to the top of a cliff above water, the ocean I think. At the top was an antique store and we ran in to our mothers and we were worried we'd get in trouble. We were looking at all the cool antique furniture. We later (or maybe earlier) had been in a re-sale goodwill/salvation army type place and we were looking at all the clotehs and found some we liked. I was looking at coats for my kids.

Why do I dream about thrift stores, basements and antique furniture so much? It's usually dressers I dream about. A lot of the furniture looks like it will be nice but is falling apart. The furniture is getting better and better looking in my dreams, last year it was all like dust, barely held together but now it is old but nice.
I think these dreams are expressing my anxiety about my part in the relief society lesson last sunday. It was about when Christ was alone in the Garden of Gethsemane and I shared experiences when I have felt alone. I am worried people think I'm a nut, I need to have a better "off button" and not share so much.

10/1 - ok another one from last night.
I dreamt my feet were swollen and my toes were going in and out of my foot, they'd shrivel up and turn skinny and black and then retreat in my foot and then pop out big and they were all mutating back and forth. freaky! my first "toe" dream. I guess I am not navigating my life with grace and poise or dealing with the details of my life well.
Toes
